Pretty good design.

I think the motherboard is pretty expensive for what you get. I'd probably get a $250 motherboard and an add-on card (Asus has some good audio cards) and good 2.1 speakers if you don't have them.

In general, I recommend $100-$150 for an audio card and $150-$200 for speakers. I found 5.1 setups a mess to setup. I got M-Audio AV40's which I love. There's no subwoofer with 2.0 (stereo) speakers but it limits the vibration to the other floors in the house. The AV40's or similar are the best option if this is an issue. If not, a good 2.1 setup is ideal (the Z-2300 rings a bell?).

Not bad. A few fixes and your good to go. First off ditch that WD h/d for the Samsung F3 1TB. That Samsung is quicker, quieter, and cheaper. It beats that WD in all three category's that count. Then combo that Samsung with the Corsair 850w psu to knock off $10 - $15 off the total price, and then combo that Asus board with the RAM to save another $25 - $30. Then combo that 2600K with the vid card to save another $15.

Do all that up above and your ready to order.

dont get the KR model video card from EVGA, it only comes with a 3 year warrenty, get the AR model its got a lifetime warrenty. also the 922 is a bit pricey, i would get the ANTEC 300 illusion, cheaper and just as good airflow. another thing, ASUS boards with a P67 chipset have issues right now with cold boots, i would go with a MSI board like the GD65, its a great board (i have it), with the money you save on the case you can get a nice CPU cooler like the mugen 2 B from scyth

looks great! thats alot of ram, but youll never have to upgrade. i would seriously recommend getting a cpu cooler in any $1000+ build. yes, you will probably be fine at stock speeds. but, i think its simply a good way to protect a large investment, it will be quieter than the stock cooler, and you will be able to overclock
