Hey guys, my current system is as follows

Mobo: MSI P6N SLi - Nforce 650i SLi Chipset
Proc: core 2 duo e6750 @ 2.7ghz
Video: Gtx 260 Factory clocked
Ram 6gb: ddr2 5-5-5-18-23
PSU - CorsairTX850

Now what i would like advice on is if i should upgrade to the best CPU my mobo is compatible with ( and what would that be? ) the best/fastest ram my mobo can take and then upgrade to a better video card, i was thinking a 560ti. OR. should i wait a bit, save some money, and start from scratch with all the newest, best components that i can afford. right now i cant play rift the way i would want, i also want to be able to play BF3, and GW2 at max settings when they come out, so any advice is welcome.

im pretty sure i want the corsair obsidian800D and NVIDIA for video cards, i would love to stay no more than 2k, but less than that for a just as good system would be better. hope that helps

You might as well build a new build with that much money. My siggy has a 1200$ build that'd be sweet for you. Just add another 560 Ti and you'll have SLI 560 Ti that'd be really good.

budget to build a new rig would be 2k. ive thinking about using an i5 2500K since its pretty good for the price plus you can overclock it.

just sucks how fast things are outdated, and an SSd is not needed. i feel a can wait a few more seconds till windows or my games load and save a few hundred

Be nice to know what monitor/resolution you play at. Having said that... BBC2 requires a quad core for optimal performance ( and it does make a difference ) but the core 775 are too expensive to make sense in an upgrade path. The gtx260, I got several. They still work for a lot of things but more or less are useless for demanding games. Memory, doesn't make much difference if you run DDR2 800 or DDR2 "8000"....... not going to see much of any difference. Depending on your resolution..... right now.... your video card is probably the "weakest" link but I wouldn't spend any money on that system now. If you have an urge to spend, buy the best graphics card you can get ( make a really wise decision ) and move it on to your next build.

what do you think this game will do ....
