Is it normal for my newly build PC to have a temperature of

- CPU (i3 2100) 53deg
- MB (ASUS H67M Pro) 38deg
- CPU Fan ~1956rpm

It seems abit high on the CPU side? I didnt Overclock or anything. Values taken from BIOS. Using Intel stock heatsink

jiewmeng:
Temps in the BIOS will always be higher, as the CPU cannot go into low-power idle mode until it boots fully into Windows. When in the BIOS, the CPU is running at full speed. It is very common to see 60-65ºC in the BIOS when using the stock cooler.

In other words, it's operating normally. Your temps in Windows will be lower than that.
