  1. Less than few FPS. Better GPU would do the difference.
  2. toms did an article on 4 vs 8. 8 performed better by more than a few frames. not much more tho.

Yes ^, I tried to find it, but no luck : (
  4. BF3 can use itself ~3.5GB + Shared RAM for GPU(s) ~3.0GB+ + OS and background 'stuff' ~1.0GB == 7.5GB+ is 'ideal'. IF you still have 'FREE' memory listed in your Resource Monitor then you're not being hampered, but if don't then you are NOT running optimized.

I don't recommend anyone get less than a 2x4GB kit; ie. 8GB of RAM.

I think it would be better to have 8GB of ram. I'm personally running 4GB atm and every time I come out of the game, my cpu monitor (gadget) will show that all the 4 gigs of ram were in use.
  6. I have 8 gb and it is what I always recommend mainly bc it is dirt cheap. However I have never once seen my usage go over 48% under any circumstances. I've never seen over 45% usage with bf3 running as well as a bunch of other things also running.

Run BF3 then run Resource Monitor and note your Free RAM.
  8. added 4gb more, no more stutters/lags, now it feels like hardware accelerated.
