ok guys i have the Phenom 2 955 BE and at one time in the bios my cpu fan was running at a straight 6.000 RPM which i could hear it was loud lol

ok how do i bump it to 6.000RPM again without the sytsem auto clocking it there my cpu hits nearly 60 degress and running at 2.000RPM doesnt seem im getting the full benifits of the cpu fan i dont care for noise levels i use Turtle beach X11 for gaming

Thanks

If your max temp stays around 60c, you're fine. I run my cpu fan in stages until I'm happy with the noise. I also increase it in the hot summer months. You may find another heatsink for around $20 on sale, such as the hyper 212 if the temps bother you.
