Compaq presario 6000 won't turn on

My Compaq Presario won't turn on - the outlet is fine.

you own a pair of boots? if you do, go get them and put them on. next unplug your computer cables from the computer and lie the computer box horizontally on the floor. for the next part you should get some distance between you and the box, subsequently run toward the computer box, at the last second jump as high as you can while bending your knees behind you so your boots glance against your buttocks, then on the way down, bend your knees forward and with all your weight coming down through your boots and onto the computer box you should scream 'booty!". this should fix the problem.
