Hello, I'm looking for a solution to this question. Is it possible to have 4 different audio players on one computer running at the same time to 4 different outputs maybe via a usb switcher of some sort. there is no room for additional audio cards.

I'm not sure, but this might give you insight: http://www.overclock.net/sound-cards-computer-audio/749327-two-different-speaker-systems-two-audio.html. They are assuming two different sound cards though, but they are assuming one would be the integrated card. I would look into the program they recommend, Foobar2000.
Four cheap USB Audio cards will give you the devices to play sound on. THe trick would be getting four instances of a media player running each outputting to the right card.
What Operating System are you thinking of using? / What kind of Audio stream?
