PC Will Not Recognize "R" Key

Have tried 3 keyboards, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers on all 3. Scanned thoroughly for viruses/spyware.
Running Vista 32 bit. All Updates have been completed on Windows Update. This is driving me nuts, help! Thanks.

Please disregard- figured it out-
my multi monitor software (Murgeemon) had 'r' as hotkey. Disabled it and
I'm back in business.
