Build help suggestions

Approximate Purchase Date:Next couple of weeks.

Budget Range: 700ish for just the tower

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming and multimedia (doesnt have to be the most cutting edge for gaming but I would like to be able to play most games at reasonable settings).

Parts Not Required:all peripherals and monitor

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:probably newegg, unless another sight has a better deal

Country of Origin:USA

Parts Preferences: see below

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: no clue

Additional Comments: I have a prospective build outlined. I would just like some clarification and recommendations on parts. If there are better parts than what I have selected, if there are combo deals that would save me money, if there is a better bang for my buck (regardless of whether it will cut performance slightly or increase price slightly), if i am forgetting something, etc.

Although it's a little over budget, the GTX460 768MB trumps that GTX550 Ti, and the Core i3 2100 is faster for your needs. Also you get 8GB RAM and relatively fast 1TB drive.
  2. Do you have a DVD writer?

    $674.93 (with your case)

The CPU is the same only clocked a little lower, you can easily up its multiplier in the BIOS a little and make it run at 3.5GHz or more.
