So I'm looking to build a new pc and i have it mostly figured out, I'll probably wait till the Sandy Bridge I7 Extremes come out but I do have a question about what I have so far. So far I have a
Mobo: Gigabyte G1. Assassin
Memory:G.Skill Ripjaw (6x4gb)
GPU:2 GTX 580
HD: 2 tb Seagate Barracuda

There is a cheaper version of the motherboard that doesn't really matter much but I am wondering:
The Assassin has 3 PCI-e x16 slots and I have an old 9800 GTX+ in my room so I was wondering if I should stay with the Assassin and add that card for dedicated Physx? I looked and it does support it. I'm looking at running 3 screens, one with 3-D, for gaming on max res. How does this look?

Yeah..in your case perhaps it wouldn't hurt..the newer cards have the ability to handle physx ok..but, if your seriously considering that board..you can either use it for physx which will be good..or, sell it!
