System Usage from Most to Least Important: Homework (I'll be starting graduate school in the fall), Beginner programming, Statistical analysis

Parts Preferences: Whatever will get me the most for my money. If you have any suggestions on parts that I can have the same capabilities by paying a bit less, I will definitely do it!

Other stuff:I eventually want add a second monitor, so I'm thinking split DVI. I'm primarily doing this so I can learn more about computers. I'll also be getting a netbook to take to class and what not.
