What could the problem be?

More about signal monitor turn
  1. I press the power button, all I hear is a *tink* sound coming from the back of the computer by the power supply, and nothing happens. Before the lights would come on and the CD/dvd drive would open, but now there is no lights, no fans, nothing.
  2. Nobody has a single possibility?
  3. you find out(like I did) that no one really ever replies haha. Maybe your PSU is faulty? Try removing your hard drive and cd drive and have just your CPU,one stick of ram and your GPU installed then start it up and see what happens.
  4. I think the reason for the lack of replies is that we've already created a troubleshooting checklist to diagnose this exact problem. The link is in my signature. It will help you find the problem if you perform EVERY step.
