ummmm that's your BIOS...

They make the BIOS chip for your motherboard.

If you didn't know that, or what that was, they trying to tell you how to "turn it off" would be useless.

We all were newbies at one point, so no insult was intended. Sorry if it did.

Well, u need that. But u can disable the splash screen.

Don't do anything else or u will mess things up : )
Look in the BIOS setup for a setting for splash screen(disable) or enable quick boot.
