Hi to all the good fella's at tom's!!

I am a newbie here at this forum and I seriously need your help!
I currently own a Core 2 Quad System..
Here are its specs..
Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66ghz 4mb Cache 1333mhz.
Intel DG41RQ
Corsair XMS2 DDR2 4gb 2x2g 1066mhz Running at 800mhz.
Seagate SATA 320GB
Sony DRU-870S Optical Drive
HIS Radeon HD 5770 IceQ5 Turbo Edition 1GB 128Bits.
Cooler Master 500W PSU.
All in a generic case!

So what I want is to upgrade my motherboard and my memory to a better one!
I had no other options instead of the ASUS P5G41T-M LX which supports DDR3 2x240 pin 1333(Oc'd)/1066/800 modules! Max 8GB :)
So I'm taking that mobo
As for the Memory, I've been a fan of corsair memories cuz of their performance and their looks! :p
I have a few memory options to choose from
P.S I want dual channel!
First of all the
CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR3 4GB-2000 2GX2 (CMZ4GX3M2A2000C1) - this is the one I want.
CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR3 4GB-1600 4GX1 (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9) - i dont really want this :p
CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR3 8GB-1600 4GX2 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) - Suits me would love to have this!
CORSAIR DOMINATOR DDR3 4GB-1600 2GX2 (CMP4GX3M2A1600C9) - Do tell me about this one too!

So there's the first part! Let me help decide what should I get!
Secondly will Memory with buses 1600 and 2000 work in ASUS P5G41T-M LX?

Seriously need help!

Based on your motherboard, I would suggest that you get a Vengeance 1333 kit or possibly a 1600 kit. Anything faster will not benefit you at all on that board. As for 4GB or 8GB, you need to decide that based on your own usage needs.

Ahan, Thanks for your reply buddy!
But I picked up an Intel DP45SG with Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24 *1.65 2x2gb instead of P5G41T-M LX ;)  :D
