So Iam in need of a cheap $600 Gaming rig that I can take with me overseas. I will leave it there which is why I really dont want to spend anymore than $600 since I'll only use it this summer.

Approximate Purchase Date: around the end of April

Budget Range: ~600 After Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Online Flash Gaming, Watching Movies, Gaming like GRID, Blur, mainly racers

Parts Not Required: Mouse, keyboard, speakers, monitor,

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg

Country of Origin: USA

Parts Preferences: AMD

Overclocking: Sure

SLI or Crossfire: Probably Not, maybe with old 4XXX series cards

Monitor Resolution: The monitor is probably 1680X1050

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I was going along the lines of a Phenom X4, maybe X3, a 5770 and 8GB of Ram.

This is a i3 -2100 Sandy Bridge mini-ITX build (small = good for shipping overseas) it will also be fast and quiet.

The HD 5770 will be ok for your stated purpose, but if you really want to play FPS or any graphic intensive games I recommend upgrading to one of these GPU's for about $60 more:

I saw that you liked AMD after I suggest the mini-ITX solution, so I put to together an AMD solution with a CPU of the same power. I recommend the Intel Sandy Bridge solution I did above as it is a better platform, runs cooler and faster and in this case $60 cheaper.

AMD Solution to above (replacing MB,CPU,RAM) +$60

$310 AMD solution VS Intel solution $250 = +$60 difference

ASUS makes the only quality mini-ITX MB for AM3 you can get cheaper, but not with good audio and USB 3.0
