Hey I was on my computer this morning playing some bc2 then shutdown to go out when I came back to my pc it booted then BSOD'd so I done what read about like taking out ram to see which stick is bad turns out 3 out of 4 sticks are "bad" any ideas how this could of happens or any way I can recover the ram I have suddenly lost ?


System Spec:
Intel Core I5 650
MSI P55 GD85 mobo
Gigabyte ATI HD 5850
Corsair TX650 PSU
WD 1TB black HDD
2x 2GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 + 2x 2GB Kingston value ram "both Kingston sticks are bad and 1 of the Corsair sticks is bad"
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

You are always in a dubious position having mismatched RAM in a WIN 7 machine. Firstly check your PSU to make sure your voltage is good and steady. Secondly only run RAM of identical brand and specification in a WIN 7 machine.

Both ram run at 1.5v and I've checked thengood one in each slot to eliminate bad slots.
I've run this pc for 7months with mixed ram and never had a problem just suddenly today lost 6gb I'm raging lol

I've had it running in this configuration for about 7 months now and suddenly today lose 6gb of ram :( not a happy bunny

All of my ram run at 1.5v but suddenly today 3 die on me not happy right now :(
