Screen gets no signal on power up

Hey everyone!

Here's my problem. I'm trying to fix someone's pc, but I just can't figure out what's wrong with it.
Whenever I try to power it up, the fans go off, led on the mobo comes on and it pretty much seems to power on correctly.
The thing is, the monitor says it's not getting any signal.
The video card works ok, I tried it on another pc, no problem. I even tried other graphics cards, same result. The RAM modules look undamaged, but to make sure I used working RAM off another computer, same result.
Something's wrong with the speaker connected to the mobo, it doesn't give me any beeps, so there's no way to figure out the problem from there.
The momo is a Gigabyte GA-7N400E REV:2.0. Not sure how to find out what CPU is on it, but I'm pretty sure that's not what's causing the issue.
Any help appreciated. If I left anything out, I'll fill in the blanks upon request.

Check the 4/8 pin CPU power cable.
