I'm planning to buy a new pc. And this is my plan so far:

Mobo - Asrock 890gx extreme 3
or MSI 890GXM-G65
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE 3.2GHZ
HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB
GPU - Palit GTX 560 TI 1gb
RAM - Gskill Ripjaws X 4GB 2GBX2 DDR3 1333
PSU - FSP Epsilon 80Plus 600w Power Supply
ATX - NZXT Guardian 921 RB Black Steel Midtower Chassis

Comments? Which mobo is better? The asrock 890 or msi890? Im having a hard time picking between the two. Or can you guys recommend a cheaper motherboard. Im not yet sure If I'm going to overclock.

I'm also planning to get an i7 system, if my mom increases the budget :bounce:  . Here's the setup:

Mobo - Asrock P67-Pro3 Motherboard B3 Stepping LGA 1155
or Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 Motherboard LGA 1155
CPU - Intel Core i7 2600 Processor (8M cache, 3.4ghz)
HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB
GPU - Palit GTX 560 TI 1gb
RAM - Gskill Ripjaws X 4GB 2GBX2 DDR3 1333
PSU - FSP Epsilon 80Plus 600w Power Supply
ATX - NZXT Guardian 921 RB Black Steel Midtower Chassis

Any tips for an i7 build? Is it already more than enough, in terms of gaming compared to my phenom II setup? And What are good motherboards for an I7 setup.

Help :D .

If youre going to get an Intel gaming CPU then the i5-2500k is the best. Or if you don't want to overclock then i'd go for the i5-2400. Also, just in case it saves you some cash, i think you could get away with 500-550W PSU.

Is this to build yourself or to buy from a website?

Is my AMD setup plan good for high settings gaming already? And which motherboard is better, the msi890 or the asrock 890 extreme 3?

@bdbeall - I'm going to buy it a store in our country. And usually they offer free assemble or charge a small fee.

I have an AsRock board, 890FX, i would recommend the AsRock. The AMD setup is good, personally I would get the HD 6950 since that would be completely AMD, and if you wanted to later, you could do Crossfire.

I think the AMD one would be ok for games at the moment but you would probably notice the difference in going up to the Intel one, also it's going to last a lot longer. As for the AMD motherboards, i don't know a lot about them but i can vouch for ASRock as most of my boards have been ASRock, theyre great and i havent had many problems.
