i recently bought a dell laptop with hd 5470 with ddr3 vmemory which is clocked at 900Mhz (as given in the amd's website) ,but when i checked it on my lap it says that its got only 800mhz ( ati catalyst center.)

BUt when i check using another software(AIDA 64) it says that i've got only 300Mhz!!

DDR3 only 300Mhz??

With the HD5000 series, the core clocks change depending on how much stress youre putting the cards through. For example, my 5870 runs at 300mhz until I start playing games, and if you check while you are playing a game, you will notice that the clocks have bumped up to 850mhz.
This is nothing to worry about, its just the power management portion of the card doing what it thinks is best, this is completely normal. Also, I would advise using MSI Afterburner or GPU-Z, those are the best monitoring programs out there right now.
Hope this helps! :D
