I recently bought that card and put it inside my machine. However, when I install the driver, it is recognized as a 560, but suffers from error 43 in Windows' device manager, and 2d rendering is extremely slow (the computer freezes for a few seconds when I drag a window over the screen), and I am unable to start any kind of 3d application.
I have tried installing and uninstalling a multitude of various drivers, and have a PSU that have more than enough power to power the card. I am getting quite desperate over here, and have seriously considered ripping my **** off, so that I may offer it to a few occult gods. Please help me, so that I won't have to.

I followed your advice, and updated the bios on my MB (which by the way is an ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2) to the latest version. However, the problem remains. Is my MB simply too old to handle it, or could it be something else that is wrong?
