XFX 5670 Dual Monitor Help?

Last response: in Graphics & Displays

Hey guys,
I was wondering if the XFX 5670 has dual monitor support?
I know it comes with Eyefinity so I can hook up three monitors.
But I doubt I'll ever get three monitors.

I know the card has one DVI, one HDMI, and one Display Port .
Please forgive me if am asking the wrong questions since I don't know much about Eyefinity and dual monitors.

I might get the 5670 soon,
Although I am still having problems with my power supply since it does meet the requirements for the 5670.
Help?
Thanks in advance!

well considering u can plug one monitor to the dvi, one to the hdmi, or connect 1 to the dvi, and get a hdmi/dvi connector, to link to a regular lcd with dvi only input, well ud have to tell us with monitors are u planning on getting, if u got only 1 with dvi, and wanna get one with hdmi u should get one with this type of input, and if u can get one with a display port as well, just to be future proof, anyways let me know what monitor ur planning on getting

or monitors ud let to get

I was thinking the same thing,
Using an adapter for a monitor.
I currently just own one VGA, DVI monitor.
But I'ts better if I check now before it's too late.

I'll be sure to back here and ask which set up I should use.

By the way,
Do you think the 5470 could run on a 305w power supply?
I took a power supply off a Dell Presicion 360.
It's an older power unit, but it's better than the one I have on my PC.

meh it should theorically run, but id wouldnt risk it, id invest in atleast a 550 or 600 watt ps u can get a 80 certified antec power supply 520 watter for like 60 bucks on newegg.com , ya for ur second monitor get one with display port and hdmi, heres a decent one for cheap:

heres one for around 230, with all the connectors u need, hdmi, displayport etc

I really don't want to invest much on this PC since it's kinda of an older one.
So it's not really worth spending on it. IMO
When I build a new PC, then I'll bring over the 5670 on the PC.

I want a 5670 for low resulution gaming,
HD streaming, and a bit of video editing.
Photoshop.
Nothing too heavy.

Am sorry but I forgot to mention that I currently have a 19'inch
So it's better if I just stick with a monitor that will run on 1440x900.

amd recommands 400 watts minimum if u dont wanna fry anything id wouldnt test it, upgrade that ps heres a cheap buy for that gpu

GIGABYTE SUPERB GE-P450P-C2 550W for like 50$ dollars

THe 5670 is fine with 300watts.
I had a 9600GSO running on a 300Watt for years.
Well, not really years but a 2 dozen months. ;)

Am thinking that it should run okay.
I got power supply off a Dell workstation.
They put those PC's through some insane torture test and they still manage to survive lol.
I saw in this video in case your interested

And plus,
Am not going to add anything else to this PC.
All am getting is the 5670 and 2GB of RAM.
Am not interested into overclocking the CPU or GPU.

still amd recommands 400 watts, minimum, u can go and try it, but there no telling if the ps will take the rest of the pc with it, better safe than sorry imho

I know mate,
I just don't want to get a 5570 for the same price.
It will just be extremely stupid for me to do that.
But thanks for caring and looking out mate.
