System Stress Test

Hello,
I've just rebuilt my aging desktop. I'v had to rplace the Graphics card and RAM (with 2nd hand components due to costs).

What I would like to do is give a stress test before I waste too much time installing lots of software again.

So far I have a fully updated XPsp3 system.

Any suggestions?

I use and reccommend Prime95 for the CPU and RAM, Furmark for the graphics and CPUid Hardware Monitor for monitoring the temperature. If you want to be extra sure you could use speedfan as well, at the same time.

Thanks for the tips, I'm running Prime (x2) and CPUID now... looks good so far, I'll see if it lasts the night.

I use OCCT to as it takes care of memory, CPU and Graphics (can do PSU too) from one program and it records / graphs all ya voltages and temperatures. Once it passes OCCT, I do a final P95 run and a memtest run, each overnight.
