This is my first build. Totally confused as to what i'm connecting to the mobo. From the PSU i have a 20 pin with another 4 pin in the same wire bundle. The 20 pin no doubt goes to the 24 pin socket (EATXPWR). Does the 4 pin from the same bundle fill the remain 4 pins of the EATXPWR? It definitely won't reach the ATX12V socket. Do i use a separate 4 pin for the ATX12V?

You are correct. Plug the 20 pin plus the attached 4 pin together into the 24 pin motherboard header. The 20 and 4 pin connectors should interlock so as to make a 24 pin connector. The PSU will also have a separate 4 or 4+4 connector for the CPU power header. The reason they separate the 24 pin connector like that is because there are still a few legacy boards out there that only accept a 20 pin board feed.

Ok cool. So, just to confirm, the 20+4 into the EATXPWR (filling all 24) and another 4 pin into the ATX12V. Correct?
