RAM/MoBo compatibility?

Soo I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard, but I wanna make sure my current RAM-blocks are compatible!
I've got my eye on a Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 which uses PC3-8500 / PC3-10600 / PC3-12800 / PC3-14400 / PC3-17600, while my RAM consists of 2*2GB @ PC3-8500F as well as 2*2GB @ PC3-10700.
I've done some Googling, and it appears 10600 is the same as 10700 so I should be good on that front?
But does the 8500F differ from 8500 in any way?
These are probably rookie questions, but I just want to make sure I buy the proper hardware first time around

My honest opinion is just try it on the new board, worse case it doesn't work and you can spend $40 and get 2 X 4GB DDR3 new.

Well I'd prefer buying a compatible board in the first place. Is there any reason it wouldn't be compatible?
