CAN I REPAIR MY LAPTOP MYSELF,I NEED TO REPLACE A NVIDIA 8600M GS

What is wrong with the laptop? Is it still under warranty? While you may be able to disassemble the PC, it isn't easy to get replacement laptop parts as they generally do not follow a standard configuration (if the GPU is even removable, which often is not true).
