Approximate Purchase Date: this week but I guess but I can wait if there is something worth waiting for.

Budget Range: $1000-$1100 Before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Microsoft Office-Internet browsing-Social gaming-Movies.

Parts Not Required: Monitor-Mouse- Keyboard- OS.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: ---

Country of Origin: USA

Parts Preferences: Nothing in mind

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: Quiet-nice to look at (Shiny) not for gaming- I would like it to be fast as I hate slow computers-the smaller the better

Thanks

I would recommend going with a sandy bridge i3 or i5. If you just using your comp for office work no need for over the top graphics card. Maybe a 5570. Also your power supply doesn't need to be anywhere above 400 watts or it'll be a waste of money. For the case I recommend an antec 300 or something of the sort. 4 gigs of ram, and the other parts is just prefrence.

Fractal Design R3 Case
Silent and solid, this case also has that refined and understated look.
$99.99

Seasonic X650 PSU
Yes, it's overkill in the wattage department, but it boasts an 80 Plus Gold rating, is fully modular, and well, it's Seasonic.
$139.99, $40 off with promo code EMCYTZT412

ASUS P8H67-M EVO
The H67 chipset lets you use the IGP off the CPU
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD
One of the best mechanical drives out there and it's $35 in this combo
$174.98

Corsair 128GB SATA III SSD
Your budget and your need for "fast" calls for an SSD. This isn't my first choice, but 120GB Vertex 3s sell out as soon as they are listed. The 64GB version is $145 less and should hold Windows, Office, and some other programs just fine. The Intel 510 is another solid choice. In all honesty, once your programs are installed, you won't notice the difference between the three.
$319.99

Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5-2500k
Yes, a "K" CPU. Why? Twice the graphics processing power of the non-k variants.
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 Ram
8GB is a pretty standard starting point and it's 1.5v, which is recommended for Sandy Bridge, and it's $13 off in the combo.
$316.98

Lite-On DVD Burner, OEM
$20.99

Total = $1032.92 plus shipping
