Screen resolution on a Gateway zx6800

Hello,

How can the screen resolution (that stays set and blocked to the recommended 1920x1080) can be changed on a zx6800 Gateway computer with touch screen ?

Not to insult, but did you try to simply change the screen resolution (e.g. with Win 7, right click on desktop and select screen resolution)?

What OS are you using and why are you trying to change the resolution? Just trying to understand your needs.

I found the problem:

Win7 does automatic upgrades and installed a late driver version for the screen that allows only the higher resolution of 1920x1080.

I have desactivated the automatic upgrade option of the Gateway and reinstalled a previous version of the screen driver and all of the possible resolutions are now accessable.
