honestly i just need some advice and direction as to how to build this computer with 500$. i have found a 800w power supply, a XFX NVIDIA 8200 SKT AM2+ AM2 MOTHERBOARD, and a nvidia GT 430 1gb, for around 218$, so now im stuck on what processor to get and what would be the best RAM to buy. or if these are even compatible

^ At that resolution, maybe even 150 FPS. I max out source on my 5850 @ 1680x1050 with all settings max.

KEEP IN MIND: Maps do create the variations, I play on normal CSS Team play servers and I handle well on those, however when I go on custom maps (ZM mod, WC3, MODs in general) I drop down to 30-100 FPS that is a huge variation but it is the range it slows down to. Specifically the map is just ze_predator blah blah what ever version it is on now.

thats awesome. with my old computer i had a 7950gt and it ran about 40-60 on low. its going to be nice having a powerful gaming computer. when i played CS it was just team maps practicing for CAL:0 so i think it should be fine.
