Hi,

I happen to have a Phenom x4 875BE, and I was looking to get back into system building after a long hiatus by building around it. I've come up with a partial parts list but I'd really appreciate filling in the holes.

Intended use: Gaming. Software Development. HTPC functionality (it'll be hooked up to a TV).

And just to be clear, it's an AMD build!

Finally, I live in Japan so I plan to troll Akihabara for parts once my list is finalized.

Here's what I've settled on:

Case: silverstone lc-13e
GFX: PNY 6950
CPU: Phenom x4 BE 975

Here's what I'd like some reccomendations for:

CPU Cooler; considering Scythe Mugen (will it fit?) or scythe big shuriken
PSU; <$100 range, quiet if possible
HDD: 1TB+
RAM: 8GB kit (suppose 6GB would be fine too)

Additionally, I'm planning on hooking this up to a 27" TV/monitor, so if anyone has reccomendations (especially one that comes with a nice stand with some vertical play) I'd be very appreciative!

Thanks in advance!

Samsung spinpoint F3 HDD
Cooler Master Hyper 212+ an other option for cooler
PSU Antec, Seasonic or Corsair 500 to 650 watt range.
Any quality 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz kit is what I would go for.

There is no such thing as a AMD x4 875BE.

Obviously a misprint since listed as a 975 in the post it self!
