System wont POST

Heres the problem. I keep my PC on 24/7 to DL stuff. Sometimes i need to restart system but after shutting down PC wont post. Re-seating the RAMS [2x2GB ddr3] always work but i need a permanent solution. What do you think the problem is. bad ram or maybe bad motherboard?

What happens when you jsut use a single stick of RAM? If you can repeat the problem with each stick, it may just be the motherboard.

Have you run memtest to see if there is a problem?

I don't know, have you tested the ram?? That would be how you determine if the ram is bad. You can use Memtest86 or Prime95 and set it to use LOTS of memory.

Why do you need to restart the computer if you keep it on 24/7??
