Hello, im just wondering if i can overclock and intel i3 2100t or should i go for the older generation i3 or should i pick the amd phenom ii x4 955.
Another thing i need help with, is with the gpu, should i pick the gtx 460 or 6850 or you can suggest other gpu's around the price of those gfx cards.
thanx in advance :)

Your questions are too broad. Please list your total budget and exactly what parts you need.

intel i5 and i7 with K only can be overclock (ie:i5-2500K, i7-2600K)
make sure you buy the right motherboard and coolant

better get ati6850 to play game

Phenom II X4 955 is the best bang for your buck, you can overclock it but the Core i3-2300 (non-T edition) is far more power efficient and better with older games but cannot overclock. Take your pick.

First of all the processor you are talking about the Intel® Core™ i3-2100T is designed to have a very low TDP and at only 35w this processors is very similar do laptop processors in it power draw. The reason this processor has such a low TDP is because it is designed for thin, small form factor systems (mini-ITX) and HTPC where there will be limited air flow and power.
If you are really looking for more processing power your best bet is to save up and get an Intel® Core™ i5-2500K which most people believe is the best gaming CPU on the market right now. And with its ability to be overclocked there is a lot you can do to make it run better.

Dan right now on my Intel® Core™ i7-2600K using HWMoniter my temperatures are 31, 33, 29, 34 on my cores with Package temperature at 34. I am using the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ with the second fan connected to it.

HAHA Yes they gave me the Intel® Core™ i7-2600K, the DZ68BD and the Intel SSD X25-M and then a Intel SSD 320 to build for my work computer and then a budget to build the rest of the system with. At home I have a Intel Core i7 860 and a DP55WB board that I paid for. I don't do as much gaming as I used to do but I still play.
