Its easy for example if you have 3 pcs:
the 2 computer should have the same workgroup name/ the same dns number/the same gateway number/the same submask/ip adress should be fifferent but in the same range for example:
PC1
IP: 192.168.0.67 SUB 255.255.255.0 GATEWAY 192.168.0.1 DNS 192.168.0.1
PC2
IP: 192.168.0.68 SUB 255.255.255.0 GATEWAY 192.168.0.1 DNS 192.168.0.1
PC3
IP: 192.168.0.69 SUB 255.255.255.0 GATEWAY 192.168.0.1 DNS 192.168.0.1
WORKGROUP all pcs : home1

and to make your network easy accessable for sharing folder I advice you you create same user name and same password on the 3 pcs
