Hello and thank you for your input and assistance in advance! :D

Issue/Problem: I want to RAID 0 3 1TB hard drives to make a solid 3TB boot drive. And I realize that MBR does not work and that GPT and EFI is required. I attempted to setup a RAID 0 in "LEGACY ROM" and then change the boot partition to EFI for GPT in bios.. This is due to not being able to enter or seeing the RAID controler popup during boot(IE Crtl - F ). It worked up to the point of actually clicking the install button. Links below:

I attempted to follow this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-inst...

Other information:
I have ran two of these hard drives in raid 0 ( two 1tbs for almost 4 months) New motherboard, and I thought that I could break this barrier..

If any one could help me solve this problem or even just throw a link at me that I didn't find; I would be grateful.

Thank you,
Kyle!

Just an update- I attempted to install windows with the same settings except I didn't setup a raid and windows tells me it can't be installed to any of the single 1tb. It states the hardware doesn't support it.

are you installing windows 8/8.1 from a uefi bootable device and using gpt on the raid setup?
