Hi,
I've currently got an ATI HD4730 graphics card, and since i've started playing games like Crysis its not been man enough to cope. I'm looking at getting a 6870 as a replacement card, but im wondering if a) my system can cope and b) its going to fit.

Ive currently got:
An ASUS M4A77T motherboard (http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=lktfeydH7jRKCfWT&...)
AMD Athlon II X4 640 quad-core processor
2x 2GB DDR3 RAM
700W EZcool Tornado PSU
Case is a Xigmatec Asgard (http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=27)

Thanks :)

You should be alright. Make sure to compare the framerates you get to benchmarks. If what you see doesn't line up, try overclocking your processor a bit,

Well my Rosewill Challenger case is .2 of an inch smaller and I have a 10.8 inch card (6950) in it with maybe a half an inch to spare. If you could fit a 6950 into your system I would suggest getting that because you can unlock your 6950 into a 6970. It runs the exact same so you are pretty much getting a $370 card for about $290.

Techpowerup has a guide on how to do it. You would be able to max out any game this thats out and any game that is coming out in 2011. I'm currently averaging ~30 fps on Metro 2033 at maxed settings which is very playable framerates. My specs are in my sig. Good luck!
