I just joined this community, so I apologize if I have opened the thread in the wrong place. About 8 months ago I purchased a Sapphire Vapor-X HD5770 card. Its performance was wonderful. About 4 months after, I put my PC on one day, and I keep getting FPS lag in all the games I play. I would play Counter-strike 1.6 on the resolution 640 x 480, and get FPS drops whenever I see a enemy. I recently sent in the card, thinking that the card was broken or something. They sent me back a brand new piece, and the problem is still there. I tried everything, upgrading bios, reformatting, and using older driver versions, but nothing really helped.
My specs are:
AMD Phenom 9500 X4 CPU
Asus M3N78 Pro Mobo
Sapphire Vapor-X HD5770
8 GB DDR2 Memory
