What are the best 1680x1050 and 1920x1080 LCD monitors ?

both are fine. but with 1080p monitors the GTX460 will struggle in some games if you try to crank up the setting such as AA. i myself using 1600 x 900 and i do feel my GTX460 are quite overkill for most game that i played except crysis and metro 2033

I am questioning the athlon II x4 for the rig, I would go with a Phenom II x2 before an athlonII. Anyway, how big do you want the monitor to be and what is you price range?
