Toms hardware post a question

Hello,

I wanted to give a computer as a graduation gift to someone. I'm looking to spend $400-500. He is a casual gamer: SC2, World of Warcraft and League of Legends.

I need to know if the Pavilion p6710f Desktop Computer at Microcenter is a good deal or if I should spend the extra money to build.

Here's my current layout:
-AMD Phenom II x2 555
-Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2P SOCKET AM3 7025 mATX Intel
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
-OCZ 4GB DDR3-1333
-Thermaltake V4
-Inland Gold Series 500w ATX Power Supply
-Western Digital Cavaiar Green 500GB HD

Is it a better idea to build or buy? If I buy, I intend to purchase the GTX 460 as a separate birthday present. I'm concerned about price and quality.

Thanks,

K

there might be better prices out there than what's listed so be sure to hunt for them
