i want to upgrade the ram of my current laptop, its a 64bit, windows 7 with 2gb base ram and 8gb max, these are its current ram specifics:

1 2 GB SODIMM Other 1067 MHz Samsung
2 Empty DIMM Other 1067 MHz

I am completely new to the concept of upgrading ram, so i dont really want to take out the 2 GB already in there but is it possible to load a 4 GB on top of it making the ram 6 GB
this i what i am currently looking at http://www.upgradeable.com.au/parts/UH1492.html

any help is well appreciated

Edit:
Its a hp g62-456tu and the current memory module in it, states "replace with hp spare" does this influence the choosing of an upgrade at all
