Hello, here is my specs :

Mobo: Biostar MCP6P1
Processor: AMD Athlon X3 3.2GHZ
Graphics card: Diamond Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5
Ram: Pareema 6GB (One 4GB and one 2GB stick.)
HDD: 100GB IDE drive.
DVD-ROM: 24X Lite-on DVD.
Card reader: Generic 6 in 1 card reader.
PSU: Raidmax 630W PSU.

Okay, now that I got my specs out of the way here is the problem. :D

I'm trying to unlock my processor, and yes I do know it might not even work. I just got this processor yesterday from Newegg, I have flashed my BIOS to the newest version so it supports the BIO-unlocKING version. But when I'm in the bios before or after I enable it, everytime I goto a different section it disappears, then re-appears if I switch to a different section and come back to it again.

When I save it, it just reboots as normal. Does anyone have any idea as to why?

Regards,
Eddie.

I am not sure what the BIOS looks like for that motherboard, but on my Biostar A880G+ there is an option for ACC. Turning this on is what allowed me to unlock my Phenom II X2 to an X4. I would suggest looking for an option like that.

Thanks for the help. I have tried it and even after I enable it the ACC is nowhere to be found. Any other suggestions? :(
