Hi guys
after using my celeron E3300 for around 12 months now ive decided i need to upgrade,however i want to stay with the lga775 socket so with that in mind ive seen several processors that may be suitable .... however which of these would be the best replacement for the E3300

  1. It's really hard to recommend anything for the LGA 775 socket. The better chips never really dropped in price much, even though the socket has been end-of-life'd.

    If I were you, I'd look into overclocking the E3300 up to 3Ghz or more. It'll give you a decent speed increase, plus it's free to do. The other chips listed would have one more MB of cache, but you probably won't notice much of a difference.
