PSU powerful enough???

Hey alll, I have a question. I was wondering if a 750W powersupply would be adequate enough to power my new system I'm building.

The specs are:
RAM: 4x G.SKILL 2GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frio OCK
MOBO: ASUS SABERTOOTH P67
Case: Antec Nine Hundred Two V3
Video Card: 2x Galaxy GeForce GTX 465 1GB
HDD: 500gb 7200rpm
CD drive: CD/DVD combo drive

More about powerful enough
  1. It should be fine, especially if it's a good brand, such as antec or corsair.
  2. Like Oldie said, a good brand like Antec, Coolermaster or Corsair will be great.

Other PSUs from less reputable brands (like Eagletek etc.) may explode or be overrated units.
  3. It's a 750W Antec PSU

I just hope it's enough power for the system
  4. Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

    GeForce GTX 465
On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit.

    GeForce GTX 400 in SLI
A second card requires you to add another ~150 Watts. You need a 650 Watt power supply unit.

So based on their review, 750w should be plenty :)
  5. i cant understand why you chose gtx465's. They are notoriously power hungry, hot and slower than gtx460's.

The GTX 465s are on a huge sale :)
  8. id rather have a single gtx560ti than 2 465's.
