More about finalized build hope 1100
  1. One of the 2500k/P67 mainboards are normally a better choice for an interneded gaming system, IMO

Most AM3 cpus are handily outframed by 20-50% margins by the 2500k/combo; in fact, the X6 will be outframed normally by an X4 at the same clockspeed due to OS overhead.
  2. First of all replace the AMD mobo and X6 with a P67 and 2500k, it's faster and newer.

    Second of all 1000w PSU???
YOU ONLY NEED 650W for that thing!

    Thirdly, DDR3 1333 CL9 is mediocre, get a better 8GB kit with at least DDR3 1600 CL9 or 8
OR just get 4GB DDR3 1600 CL6 Ripjaws X, half the amount of memory yet twice as fast!
  3. Intel

    Intel Core i5-2500K + GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4-B3
    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB
    LG WH10LS30 10X Blu-ray Burner
    SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB + Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W
    Antec DF-85
    HIS H695F2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB

    ASRock 890FX DELUXE5
    AMD Phenom II X4 955

The mobo has the new AM3+ socket for the 4-8 core Bulldozer CPUs to be released in June.

If you don't plan to unlock the video card into a HD 6970 or use multiple monitors you can get this card, quieter and silent. Also lifetime warranty provide you register it on the XFX site within 10 days.
