Hd4850 + dx 11 in vista64 sp2

should i be using dx 11 with ati hd4850 will this cause problems?
if so how would i uninstall 11 and install 10 or 10.1

HD 4850 supports DX 10.1,and doesn't support DX11

thank u do u know how i can uninstall 11 or roll back to 10.1 i don't know how i got 11 on my system any links would be appreciated

There is no need to go back.
4850 supports DX 10.1 and even if you download the latest direct X drivers from MS,it will still work at 10.1 so don't worry about reverting to an older version.
Also,if your system is reporting that you've DX11,then that's because you're using Vista SP2.It supports DX11,but your card doesn't.

Vista with the Platform update supports DX11.

As for the card, you don't need to worry. Like everybody else said, DX11 is backwards-compatible with DX10.1.

DX11 will also work with DX9 cards. no reason to "uninstall"
