Hi i have recently came into some money and can spend 500 dollars on a mobo and graphics card maybe a little more i would like to sli. I have a i5 processor and nvidia gtx 460 card. I can list everything also i may get a new case the one i have is nice but i could do better could you help me find the right parts.

Solution
Yes that would work great for you.

If you want to upgrade to IB in a few months I would look at the Z77 boards that are starting to come out as they will have true PCIe 3.0 support for the new chips.

I need a new case this is the one i was considering on http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021. Also i need a new monitor a 23 in is fine i was looking at this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021. Also the first link is to only a asrock and not any other ones have you had any good experiences with them i bought one and it arrived doa so i was wondering about other ones.

ASRock has lately been a solid brand. If you want to go with a gigabyte or an asus you will pay a little more for them.

Any of these will be good for you

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%20600093976%20600008069&IsNodeId=1&name=Intel%20P43%2fP45%2fP55%2fP67

Gigabyte and Asus and EVGA will be the best brands, although more expenisve.
ASRock and MSI will be next in line
BioStart and the other brands will be last.

Antec cases are well built, just make sure you pick one that is full size ATX

The monitor link you posted is the same as the case.

Okay so of the three chipset h61,z68 and p67 the p67 would run perfect for me okay then i will look into p67 ones and repost. My case is Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower the link wasnt working so i posted the name of it. Also i may get a ivy bridge cpu when they come out if the interest me, what would be a good mobo for them.

Okay i found this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131701 for 210 would this satisfy my needs. In case the link fails it is a ASUS P8P67 DELUXE (REV 3.0). Also i found asrock ones but they only have 1 pcie 2.0 slots and this one has 2 so this is better.
