Okay I am wanting to get a new card cause the one Im using is a HD4350 and it drags a#$ bad so just wanted some opinions on what card would be my best bet for between $120 and $200 bucks give or take a few bucks.

Heres my current PC'S set-up and also I will be putting another 4gb of ram if not 8 into the pc at the same time i put in the new video card.

Power Supply: OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ700MXSP 700W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V SLI
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban
Motherboard: Asus M4A785TD-V Evo (3 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM,Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)
Motherboard Chipset: AMD 785G, AMD K10
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
HardDrive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s

I am running Windows 7 Professional

If there is any more info anyone needs to make a better suggestion let me know and Ill get it poosted asap thanks for the help all!

i think you have enough ram, more money toward video card would be better, unless you have a use for all that ram.... IMO you want to at least aim for an HD6850/5850 or gtx460 assuming your use is for gaming. If you have a 1920x1080 monitor you may want to aim a little higher if your budget will stretch toward that $200. a gtx470 would be nice and they are pretty cheap at the moment.

At this price range the GTX 460 and HD 6850. The HD 5770 is such a crappy card for the price. Don't even consider it.

Anyone who actually promotes the HD 5770 either has one and wants to feel less retarded about their purchase or thinks the HD 5770's 42w advantage over the GTX 460 actually makes a difference (and is also retarded).

As 'retarded' as someone who would get so worked up that he needed to call someone else 'retarded' for offering his own personal opinion?

I don't think it is fair to compare 1gb to 768mb. GTX460 1GB (not SE version) stands strong to HD6850 and I heard overclocks somewhat better. Tom's has article where they advise gtx 460 over 6850. Anyway 6850 is very fine too. :na:

This is true about the 1gig non SE 100%. With the mobo you selected you won't be doing crossfire as the PCIe is x16 x4 which is the worst setup. So for the single card solution you might as well flip a coin. Dimamu15 gave you a great link for the 460, the 1gb will be a little faster than the 6850 but also use more power/heat which is usually not enough to really sway the decision.

Personally I always use AMD cards with AMD boards because Nvidia and AMD always seem to have problems. But they are both very solid cards and you can't really go wrong.

so your saying the 5fps gain here with the gtx460 over the 5770 http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-460-gf104-fermi,2684-8.html doesnt account for the price difference, which is 5770 (AU$127) vs gtx460 (AU$179). I think they are priced quite reasonably. And if you had a lower spec PSU that could not power the 460, that would be extra cost again. This just shows that you dont think things through and run off your mouth too much, showing well and truly who the retard is........

iam2thecrowe, stop cherry picking results to make yourself feel less like a retard

Again, the GTX 460 768 obliterates the HD 5770. If you can't spend $15 for the 460 you're absolutely ******* retarded.

If you can't put a GTX 460 into your system because of the power difference you're a retard for the following reasons:
1) you bought a Dell/HP/baddie computer
2) you bought a terrible PSU (42W difference)
In either case you're a retard.

Keep posting. Destroying you retards is fun.

Are you serious? What kind of person/troll are you? Such arrogance. I agree with you however, that the HD 5770 is a crappy card. Which obviously I did not know at the time. After playing a few games I quickly noticed the card was not worth the price and I upgraded. So I would not reccomend the 5770. It could not even play an old game like Oblivion with Max settings. And to call me retarted implys you know me on a personal level. Now I have no desire to know someone who thinks on such ignorant wavelengths, so unless you have something intelligent and contributing to say in a polite manner, Say nothing at all.

Ummm yeah... this is coming from the same guy who was saying it was perfectly fine and safe to use a no name low wattage generic power supply with a GTX 460.... Who's the retard exactly????

EDIT:
You know minitron815, Im sure we would be highly interested in seeing a detailed list of specs, along with few pics of your system, along with maybe a pic of you giving a thumbs up to prove its yours, or a note card by the system in the pics with your id on it. To the OP, a 6950 or 6970 would serve you well. The 6950 would be well into the $260 price range, however the 6970 would run you around $330 or so.
