Hello,
Hello guys , I just wanted to ask some experts to recommend me a pretty good rig for a 600$ budget. BTW I'm in the real hurry and I could really use some QUICK answer!!
(My current rig is :
1. monitor : sync master bf 1731 2000:1 2m/s
2. VGA : 9600gso NVIDIA 768mb
3. CPU: AMD 64X2 5000+
4.OS : win 7 32bit
5.RAM : 2GB OCZ 800
btw , is this a good rig? cus I bought it in september 2008 & I have played most of the cool games since then!
Not to forget that I JUST NEED A PRETTY GOOD RIG 90% FOR PLAYING LATEST GAMES AND AT LEAST FOR THE NEXT 2 YEARS!!
What do you reccomend guys? (VGA is very important to me.)

I will continue using your cpu for at least one year more, I would buy 1 Gb of Ram, and a new gpu, for example a 5770.
What´s your PSU.

Anyway if you want to buy a new PC, could you tell us where do you intend to buy it?, so I can check for some good configurations.

Tnx for your help pal , but does my M3A ASUS motherboard support the 5770 ATI ???
To tell the truth I had 5770 ATI in my mind , but I don't think it would be a good idea....!!!
even crossfiring two 5770 is not better than a HD5850...! right...??

I'm from Iran (sorry about that grammatical problems , I hope you don't mind them!!), I don't know if you could help me that. But here we actually have the latest GPUs ,CPUs & etc...
the problem is ,what to buy regarding my 600$ budget?
BTW my psu is 400w green power (I guess ....??!).

No, I don't mind it at all !!! But in that case i would have to spend most of my money only on HD6850 , right ...?!! :??:
what else do you recommend ?
(keep that in mind that I'm from Iran & the prices here are sky high)

PCI-E 2.0 is backward compatible with PCI-E 1.0,so yes you can use 5770 on your board.Just make sure you have the latest BIOS.
5770 is a decent card,2 of them outperform 1 5850 in most games and equal 5870's performance.
If you play at resolutions like 1280x1024,then 1 5770 is enough and can handle all games fine;however, your PSU isn't enough.(You need at least a 450W PSU)
Upgarding your RAM to 4GB will also help and give you a decent boost in performance.
