Okay so I have been putting a gaming rig together and I just have some questions.
Build so far:
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 570 (fermi)
Mobo: ASUS P8P67 DELUXE
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin, DDR3 1333
I'm certain that is the CPU I want and fairly certain about the GPU, but I am open to new ideas. If anyone has any suggestions throw them out there. I've played with the idea of crossfired 6870's, but wasn't sure about it.
What are the differences between memory speeds? Is a DDR3 1333 that much worse than a 1600 or 2200? Are the faster memories worth the price?
I don't know much about motherboards and the differences between them. From what I've read the Asus P8P67 Deluxe is a good motherboard but I just want someone's opinion on it and if there are any others that are substantially better for a reasonable price.
I'm not too concerned about price but I don't want to spend more than $1050ish . Right now, I have it at $890 so that leaves some wiggle room.
