1333Mhz motherboard compatible with 1600Mhz RAM?

Hello,

I have 1600Mhz DDR 3 memomries and I want to buy a budget motherboard less than $150 can anyone suggest me good motherboard?

Also let me know whether I can use 1333Mhz motherboard and 1600Mhz rams will work.

Yes you can you use the faster RAM, it will just downclock them to 1333MHz

$150 isn't a budget motherboard......I paid $55 for mine, now that's budget.

How can we suggest you a good motherboard when we have no idea what cpu your using???? You need a motherboard that's the same socket as your cpu.

Hi geekapprovec, I was looking for a motherboard which supports 1600MHz RAM as I have purchased already 16GB RAM now I have DH67BL motherboard and inserted all16GB memory working at 1333MHz. Processor is i3 2100.

basically I need PC for photo and video editing hence got this one.

So are you using DDR3 1333, or running 1600 and letting it clock down to 1333?
That board supports 1066 and 1333 and doesn't support XMP so using 1600 is just a waste of money in this case if the board won't even support it.

yes I understand I got 16GB corsair vengeance ram for $125 in India and 1333MHz ram was $96 difference was 29$ in future If i get a budget I can invest on good processor and motherboard
