Non native resolution

Hello,
I've got HP L1750 monitors & need to run @ 1024x768 because of software requirements. How do I get them to do that w/o going to native resolution of 1280x1024?

Can you elaborate a bit? Is there a reason you can't set you Windows resolution to 1024x768?

I can set the resolution to 1024x768, I need it to be the default resolution. Seems the HP dc5800 w/L1750 will change to 1280x1024 upon reboot. Our user restrictions do not allow them to change the resolution & most our apps w/SmartBoard require 1024x768.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!
At least it seems to be working. I uninstalled the HP Product Detection software; Uninstalled "SetRefresh" software; Changed Monitor to Plug & Play & Tweaked the Registry.

In the Registry, I changed all settings for "NativeResolution" to "0"; Removed "SetRefresh" Keys; & removed 1280x1024 from Monitor Keys.

Might be brutal but, it works!
