Anyone know when new AMD chips @$125 range will be out?

Looking to upgrade my system for gaming and I read that right now, Intel has the best chips for gaming in the $125 and up range but I'd like to stick with AMD. Anyone know when some viable gaming chips will be out that beats Intel's in that price range?

? the phenom II 955 is less than $125 and its great for gaming. Its a better all round cpu than the i3 2100. Sure its a little behind in gaming performance but for most upcoming games that use 4 cores its on par or ahead of the i3's.

ok i was just going by the guide on this site.

Also the Bulldozer CPU's coming out in Sept., 8 cores.. Whats the projected price range?

they say 320$ and under for the top line 8 cores
maybe round 200$ for the 6 core

Considering that only a few game use 4 cores, the extra 2 / 4 cores in Bulldozer will not improve performance in any way for games.

However, they will be useful for programs that can use all those cores and for multi-tasking purposes.
